Pretty blanket that Aunt Laura made for Hannah

They usually fight over who gets to lay their hand on the middle arm rest. This time I actually caught them holding hands!
Awwww...proof they DO like each other!

Photo recap of last month
Posted by joy at 10:15 AM 0 comments
So sorry
for the lack of blogging. I've taken a few pictures that I hope to post later, to catch you up on the last month. We have been busy lately and I haven't had the energy to come here and write something semi-interesting.
My precious girlies have been good helpers to Momma. Hannah has been a good little student and Emma has been a good little Boo...for the most part.
The man child has been the main source of my lack of energy. His energy abounds and so does his penchant for finding trouble. If Dave the Man had a twitter page, it would go something like this -
6:45am ish - wake up, climb into mom's bed to watch a little Elmo
7:00 - go find my sisters and wreck Emma's Little People Village that she constructed the night before
7:15 - enjoy my milk cup
7:30 - mom secretly attached a pedometer to my waist band.
7:45 - ate mom's chapstick
8:00 - up to 400 steps
8:05 - emptied all the straws out of the straw holder
8:10 - discovered the pedometer and promptly removed it to push all the buttons
8:15 - emptied many handfuls of rice out of moms Rice holder
8:30- it isnt even 830 yet....
so you see, I've been busy :o)

I can't stop rubbing his head
Look at this cuteness that is Dave the Man. He got a fresh new haircut last night, his first haircut with clippers. Oddly enough, it was my husband that was teary about the loss of his son's hair, and it was me demanding that all the "girly hair" be cut off.
Maybe that's why he has been acting out and destroying so many things this week??? He had to display so much manliness to balance his effeminate hair? It's okay now baby. Momma made you a little man.
Seriously though, I can't take it. He is too delicious.

An addendum to my previous post
Dear Dave the Man,
I love you dearly. But why oh why did you feel the burning desire to find all of my plastic disposable knives and destroy them? You were having such a fun time sitting in the kitchen, snapping them in half...one by one. snap. snap. snap. Who needs plastic knives anyways? They came in a large pack with spoons and forks, and, of course, we only used the spoons and forks and just the knives were left. They were asking for it. Yet, I am fascinated by your desire to destroy. You even clapped with joy after every couple snaps. I forgive you little man, for I know that you could not help yourself. You are a boy. You must seek out and destroy. Just please do not destroy anything terribly important. Please. Just stick to the disposable utensils and paper towels for now. Thank you.
Love you to the Moon,
Momma

As Dora would say, "Delicioso!"
You have to pay a price to have such yummy imported goodness. It is oh so worth it. Oh. So. Worth. It.
You have to pay a price in calories. This, my friends, is REAL sugar. Not that high-fructose corn syrup junk. REAL SUGAR. Need I say more.
You have to pay a price for the glass drinking experience. Am I the only one that thinks drinks taste so much better out of glass?
And apparently, you have to pay a price in spelling.
Nothing's perfect, but this is really close.
